How to Reset Your SmartTimer

This article provides a guide on how to reset your SmartTimer. Follow the steps in the article in order to reset your SmartTimer.

Before beginning

Your SmartTimer isn’t connecting to your phone and doesn’t blink or light up blue when plugged into the charger?

Before resetting, please make sure:

  • Your app is up to date
  • Bluetooth is turned on on your smartphone
  • The app has all necessary permissions (especially Bluetooth and location)
 

→ You can check and grant permissions by going into your phone’s app settings or by starting the intro tutorial again from the app settings.

How to Reset Your SmartTimer

No worries — resetting your SmartTimer only takes a few seconds:

1. Locate the reset port

  • At the end of the left trigger port on your SmartTimer, there’s a small reset button. To reach it, gently insert something thin — like a toothpick, SIM tool, or the back end of a matchstick.

2. Press the reset button

  • At the end of the port, you’ll feel a tiny button. Press it once with a quick, gentle tap.

3. Reconnect via the app

  • Your SmartTimer should now reboot and reconnect to your phone.
    Once connected, we recommend updating the firmware via the app (either from the settings or the update pop-up).
