Our story.
3 Friends, 1 Idea
We are a team of three young, ambitious photographers from Germany. Through our complementary studies in computer science, production and business and a successful founding of a film agency, we have already been able to achieve a lot as a team. In 2020, we embarked on a year-long global journey to record fascinating time-lapses. Since we had to wake up during the midnight hours to manually adjust intervals, we decided to develop a tool that would allow us to seamlessly transition from day to night without having to adjust intervals manually every minute. Upon our return, we immediately jumped into the development of SmartTimer, a project we have been diligently working on for over two years at this point.
The Struggle
It was a warm summer night when we set out to capture the beauty of the stars in a timelapse video. We had everything we needed, except for a reliable intervalometer. We tried a few different ones, but they all had their flaws. Some were too complicated to use, while others caused us to miss critical shots. We were getting frustrated, and we knew there had to be a better way.
The Solution
That’s when we decided to create our own intervalometer. We spent countless hours researching, designing, and testing until we came up with a product that was not only reliable but also easy to use and packed with features. With our intervalometer, we could adjust the interval on the fly, save presets for quick and easy setup, and even control our camera remotely from our phone. We knew we had something special, and we wanted to share it with the world.
The Product
We’re excited to announce that we could launch our product! With your support, we could bring this amazing intervalometer to life and help photographers and filmmakers everywhere capture stunning timelapses with ease. We’re confident that our intervalometer will make timelapse photography better than ever before, and we can’t wait to see what incredible images and videos people create with it. Join us on this journey, and let’s make timelapse photography accessible to everyone.
